Membership Growth & Retention
Any person, firm or company who shall desire to become a member of the Association shall make an application in writing in such form as the Committee shall from time to time prescribe and shall be investigated by two members of the Association and upon acceptance by the Committee shall be admitted a member of the Association. Every such person, firm or company shall thereupon become subject to the rules of the Association and shall be deemed to have agreed to be bound by and to observe the same. The membership shall be categorized and shall be comprised as follows: 1. Ordinary Membership Persons, firms or companies owning and/or operating petrol stations, or their nominated representatives, who shall be entitled to all the privileges of membership. 2. Associate Membership Persons, firms or companies having an interest in carrying out the purposes and objects of the Association, who shall be entitled to all the privileges of membership excepting a vote and the holding of elective office. 3. Honorary Membership Former members who have rendered notable service to the Association and have retired from active participation in the industry and as member representatives Or Prominent officials of other organization of gasoline retailers of a similar nature to the Association, who have performed services deemed by the Committee to be worthy of recognition.
